Warm gloves or mittens that are unlined or lined are great for the entire family! Garments, so soft and pliable, with your choice of linings, fringe, are custom made for you.
The size and condition of the hide, and the size and style of product being ordered determine what, and how many items can be made. List your products in order of preference. We will start at the top of the list and make as many products as the leather permits.
Sample garments, gloves, and mittens are on display in the showroom at our factor and you are welcome to examine and try them on. We will be happy to assist you with your order and measurements. Factory hours vary seasonally.
Call ahead to verify someone will be at the shop before you make the drive.
When your order is completed, we will notify you with an itemized invoice. IF you cannot pick up the order, please remit payment so we can ship your order to you.

IF the item(s) you wish to order requires more hides then you have, we will be glad to supply you the leather to finish you product(s). Call us for pricing and we will answer any questions you have.

GLOVES AND MITTENS: An average hide can get 2 - 3 pair of mittens and/or gloves from a hide, depending on size and style order.

GUN CASES: Gun Cases require 2 average to large size deer. Pistol cases require 1 deer.
GARMENTS
Jackets and shirts, through size 46, require four large deer. Sizes 48 and up require one to two extra deer.
Vests, through size 46, require 2 large deer. Sizes 48 and up require 1 to 2 more deer.
All products are made with the usual grain side out, or reversed with suede side out. All products are made grain side out unless specified otherwise.
Two pockets are included in each garment, with the exception of the Montana Vest which has three pockets by design. Extra pockets, no matter the location can be added for $9.00. Conceal and carry pockets can be added to garments for an additional $18.00.
All standard fringe is our regular 3" cut. We can add a 3" to 5" v-fringe on the front and back yokes of jackets and vest if desired and specified. We can also use 5" fringe, or 5" to 9" v-fringe. Any fringe other than the regular 3" cut is an additional $12.00.
Any color is available on any style jacket. We can add the pile collar to jackets without pile lining for $8.00; we can put the leather collar on a pile lined jacket for no charge. We can also put the leather collar on the Bomber jacket (Style #208) for no charge. Jackets will be made standard unless specified otherwise.
All garments have a choice of three limits with the exception of the Children's garments which is lined with plaid cotton flannel. The lining options are: nylon, black quilted lining (nylon quilted in 3" squares to 1/8" foam), heavy black Sherpa-like pile lining. Nylon lining comes standard with any garment. Black quilt is available for an additional $10.00 in a jacket and an addition $7.00 in a vest. The black pile is available for an additional $20.00 in a jacket and $12.00 in a vest.
In the event that your raw and/or tanned hide is lost or damaged while in our possession, our liability for loss, damage or delay is limited to the fair market value of the item at the time of loss. Under no circumstances shall Century Leather be liable for extra, consequential, or special damages, no matter how caused. By submitting hides for tanning, you agree to limit damages as set forth. Due to many factors that have an effect on the final result of tanning, all tanning is done at the owners risk, and we do not guarantee a specific result.
